Encased in a Laser-Engraved Wooden Nickel

Each Wooden Nickel has been Laser-Engraved and a precision hole was Laser cut. A new 2000 Jefferson Nickel & an old Buffalo Nickel were then press fit into this hole to create this Double Encased Nickel.

The Laser cut holes were made into actual size Wooden Nickels (about twice as thick as an actual coin) by Laser-Engraving a Jefferson 2000 design.
